ABOUT THE ARTIST
Chicago to LA
|| Artist || Designer ||
Born and raised in Chicago and Los Angeles transplant, I’ve been creating art since I can remember. As a child, I remember tracing Simpsons characters, especially Bart’s superhero alter-ego, Bartman. This led to more drawing and my interest in comic books, often getting lost in the artwork and stories of Spiderman, Batman, and Superman. For me, art would be my superpower.
Throughout my life, I’ve found inspiration from various artists like Picasso, Warhol, Lichtenstein, Haring, Van Gogh, Dalí, along with comic book artists like Todd McFarlane and Stan Lee.
I design my artwork digitally and transfer the image onto the canvas in pencil. I carefully apply acrylic paint layer-by-layer, ensuring that the artwork has a flat finish void of brush marks (The homage to Pop Art).
